WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?

BECCAUSE, ART IS AWESOME!  Art is therapeutic.  Art is a stress reliever.  Art is fun.  Art is so many things...
But, in the daily doldrums of life, art gets forgotten.  It's considered "too expensive".  It's considered "non-essential".  Nothing could be further from the truth.
Art has been around as long as there have been people to enjoy it.  However, over time - but especially now - art is being overlooked.  People have become so consumed with work, that they don't take time for art.  What they fail to realize is that by taking a little time out to appreciate or create art, the rejuvenational effects are phenomenal.  To sit down at a blank canvas, and three hours later have a gorgeous painting that you created to hang on your wall is invigorating.  To gather with a group of people, and become a cast of actors that presents a show to numerous audiences - is a thrill I would assume is similar to sky-diving.
"BE the CCAUSE" was created, to help make the arts more accessible to everyone.

I'VE NEVER BEEN VERY ARTISTIC, CAN I REALLY MAKE A PAINTING THAT LOOKS LIKE THAT?

ABSOLUTELY!  That's the beauty and joy of the "wet on wet" technique.  It's very forgiving, and it's your painting anyways, so who's to say what it's supposed to look like!?!

HOW MUCH ARE CLASSES?

Class prices vary.

Painting classes prices are listed for each event, and vary based on canvas size, number of canvases, type of painting, complexity of painting/length of session, and instructor.

I'M INTERESTED, HOW DO I BOOK A CLASS?

Click on the "book classes" tab at the top of your screen.  Select the class you want, and click "book".
If you're having difficulties, feel free to either fill out the "Contact Us" form, or call in and we'll help you out.

DO I HAVE TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?

Short answer, no.
BUT...
It is recommended.  We keep class sizes small to ensure everyone can get any assistance they need.

WHAT IF I'M THE ONLY PERSON THAT SHOWS UP FOR A CLASS?

Then lucky you!  You get one on one instruction!  We won't cancel classes for lack of attendance; if even one person shows up, the class goes on!  It's about sharing the arts, and it only takes one other person to share something with.

DO YOU ACCEPT CASH?

As long as dead presidents printed on official little pieces of paper are considered legal tender, then yes we do!!
BUT...
You'll want to call in to book your spot and make payment arrangements ahead of time.  We can accept cash, but we still need to book your spot.

CAN I PAY AT THE DOOR?

Yes, BUT...
If you're paying cash, hopefully you've called ahead to reserve your spot.
If you're a walk up paying with a credit/debit card, if there is still a spot available, we can register you online on the spot.  We do not have the means to process a credit/debit card on site.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY?

If a scheduled instructor has to cancel a class, "BE the CCAUSE" will make every effort to find a substitute instructor to ensure that class can proceed as scheduled.  If it cannot, an e-mail will be sent as soon as that decision is made, and a full refund will be processed that you should receive in 10-14 business days.
If you have to cancel, and you are able to inform us of the cancellation at least 72 hours (3 days) prior to the session so that we can attempt to fill your vacancy.  A refund will be processed and you should receive it in 10-14 business days.  If it is less than 72 hours before the class session starts, but less than 24 hours, a 50% refund will be processed and you should receive it in 10-14 business days.  If you have to cancel within 24 hours of the class, we do apologize, but no refund will be issued.

I WANT TO TAKE ONE OF THE CLASSES YOU OFFER, BUT CASH IS REALLY TIGHT RIGHT NOW.  IS THERE A WAY I CAN STILL PARTAKE IN THE ARTS?

The purpose of "BE the CCAUSE" is to make the arts as accessible to the general public as possible.  If there is a class you are interested in and are unable to afford, please reach out to us and we will see how we might be able to accommodate you.

I WANT TO GIVE A CLASS AT "BE THE CCAUSE", HOW CAN I GO ABOUT DOING THIS?

If you have a specialty that your friends have told you "you should give a class on how to do that"; then we'd love to talk to you!  Fill out the contact us form, and we'll get back to you!

IS THE ARTWORK IN THE GALLERY FOR SALE?

ABSOLUTELY!!!  Most of the paintings in the Nature Coast Space Art gallery section, and the Niski Art gallery section are for sale.  Just ask in person!

I'M AN ARTIST, HOW DO I GET MY ARTWORK ON DISPLAY IN YOUR GALLERY?

While "BE the CCAUSE" is the home for both "Nature Coast Space Art" and "Niski Art" displays, we are open to housing other artist's artwork.  If you're interested in having your art displayed at "BE the CCAUSE", feel free to reach out and we can discuss further details.

IF I TAKE A PAINTING CLASS, DO I TAKE MY PAINTING HOME THAT NIGHT?

You most certainly can, if you'd like... However, as the name implies, "wet on wet" paintings take an average of 7-10 days to dry.  While you're more than welcome to take your painting home at the end of the session, we have had personal experiences of paintings being bumped in transit - resulting in undesirable blemishes.  If you do elect to take your painting home at the end of the session, it is suggested that you bring a cardboard box, or some other form of protection to keep your painting, and you vehicles upholstery, free of damage.  We do have a limited amount of space for paintings to dry if you don't take it home with you, and we try to keep a small number of "transport boxes" on hand.  (Paintings left over 30 days will be considered abandoned and added to the gallery for sale.)

I'M HERE ON VACATION AND CAN'T WAIT 7-10 DAYS FOR MY PAINTING TO DRY...  HOW CAN I GET MY PAINTING HOME WITHOUT RUINING IT?

First off, thank you for taking time out of your vacation to spend with us, creating art!  We have friends at PakMail that are able to exercise the proper care required to safely send your artwork back to your home once it dries.  If you need this extra service, please let us know ahead of time so we can have shipping arrangements prepared for your approval and payment.

I LOVED TAKING THE "WET ON WET" PAINTING CLASS!  I WANT TO DO MORE PAINTING AT HOME.  WHERE CAN I GET THE MATERIALS?

Everything used during class can be purchased either at Michaels Art Supply Store, or through Amazon.  If you don't want to order the minimum amount required for free shipping, or you don't want to drive all the way to find an art supply store, all supplies are available/can be ordered through us.

I REALLY LIKE THE NATURE COAST SPACE ART, WILL YOU EVER GIVE CLASSES ON HOW TO DO THAT?

The best answer we can give you right now is:  we're working on it.  Due to the nature of aerosol spray paints, the over spray, and the odors; the logistics of offering a spray paint art class are complicated.  Additionally, while some of the paints used are available at the big box stores, a handful of them are far more expensive and have limited availability.  We are working diligently with Mr. Dean to figure out logistics of how to best offer this class to the public, safely, while maintaining an affordable cost

WHAT ABOUT ACRYLIC PAINT POURING?  THAT SEEMS NEAT.  WILL YOU OFFER CLASSES ON THAT?

YES!!  "BE the CCAUSE" will be offering acrylic paint pouring classes in the upcoming future.  When they are available, they will be listed on the "Book Classes" page.

I'M A 21+ YEAR OLD INDIVIDUAL.  AM I ALLOWED TO ENJOY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WHILE TAKING CLASSES?

"BE the CCAUSE" does not have any type of alcohol sales license and does not have any alcohol available to the public.  However, this does not prevent you from bringing your own and enjoying it during the session.  Refrigeration space is available upon request.  Guests who are, or become, overly intoxicated will be asked to leave with no refund.
